Hello Cornerstone! It's hard to believe, but we are into Holy Week! This Friday is Good Friday & Sunday is Easter or Resurrection Sunday. If you watched the sermon from yesterday, I mentioned that we were hoping to have a "Parking Lot" service for Easter. Unfortunately, that will not be the case. While there are many great things that could come from it, we recognize a number of negatives as well. Taken all together we have decided NOT to have the parking lot service. However, we are still celebrating Good Friday and Easter with live stream services!

Good Friday - Our Good Friday service will be held at 7pm this Friday. We will be celebrating communion with this service. Obviously, you will need to put together your own communion elements of wine and bread. At Cornerstone we usually use grape juice (or cran-grape) and oyster crackers or matzah bread. You can use whatever you want. Once when backpacking we took communion with powdered lemonade and pilot biscuits! Choose something that would be meaningful for you that represents the blood and body of Jesus. This is an exciting opportunity for you to celbrate communion in your own home with family, knowing that the rest of Cornerstone is celebrating at the same time.

Easter - Our Easter service live stream will be at 9am on Sunday. Again, both services will be posted to the website shortly after.

It's unfortunate that we could not make the parking lot service work. But, we are rejoicing in being able to live the ideal of being able to be the church even though we can't meet. Although, I'm looking forward to when we can.

Peace & Blessings to each of you,

King
