Urgent Cornerstone!

A scam email has been received by several people in our congregation. It goes like this:

First email -

Hi Your Name,

Get back to me as soon as you receive my message, I need you to handle something for me Asap, I can't talk on the phone at the moment, Just reply to me on here.

Thanks For Your Response Your Name,

OK. I need you to help me purchase a Google Play Gift Cards worth $1000 in $200 denominations for Hope Children Homes, I am giving out this to their staffs as a donation and this is coming from me personally as I promised them they will be getting the cards from me today but am unable to do this now.

Let me know if you can help me get the purchase and i will reimburse you back as soon as possible.

This is not from me!!! And, I would never make a request from anyone like this. Currently, the email is coming from clergyc70@gmail.com; however, this could change in subsequent emails. So, be on the lookout, and if you get something like this, delete immediately!
