COPING THROUGH CHRIST

Lead: Dana & Jesse Baker and Doc & Cassy Lueck

Focus: Dealing with hurts, addiction, and hangups that hold us back from the life Christ has for us

Format: Worship, Teaching, Testimonies, Small group discussions

Meets: Tuesdays, 6-8pm, at Boone Cornerstone

FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

Lead: Dennis & Jen Michener

Focus: Coming together in and outside of church, building relationships, while digging deeper into our faith and accountability and sharing that with one another.

Format: Currently a book study on Fruit of the Spirit

Invites: All generations of the family

Meets: Mondays, 6-8pm, at the home of the Michener's 308 SW 2nd St, Ogden, IA

Focus: Creating friendships and encouragement for those who are working through the loss of a spouse

Format: Fellowship through meals, games, activities

Invites: Widows and widowers

Meets: Monthly. Location, date, and time varies

GROWING TOGETHER IN LISTENING PRAYER

Lead: Don and Barb Roome

Focus: Improve our ability to hear God, how to pray, and share encouragement through answered prayer

Format: Worship, bible verse readings, sharing suggestions, personal prayer

Invites: Everyone

Meets: First and third Friday each month at 1610 1 st Street, Boone

Note: 1st Friday: noon-3pm and share a meal, 3rd Friday: 1-3pm, no meal.

TOUGH GUYS AND DRAMA QUEENS

Lead: Chris and Ruthie King

Focus: Parents of preteens and teens can move from scared to prepared with a new approach to parenting their adolescents. Parents of preteens intuitively know that no matter how good their kids are, there is turbulence ahead. Many feel lost and unprepared as they watch the damaging effects of culture collide with their child's growing pains and raging hormones. 

Format: 9-week bible study

Invites: Parents of preteens and teens

Meets: Thursday nights 6pm-8pm in the basement starting 8/20/2026 through 10/22/2026
